Flora in Focus -Acrylic Painting with Hayley Krüger

Spend the day immersed in creativity as we explore the beauty of native Australian flora through acrylic painting. Guided by award-winning artist Hayley Krüger, you’ll learn blending techniques and other acrylic methods to create your own stunning botanical artwork—all completed in one session.

Suitable for all skill levels. From beginners to seasoned artists, everyone is welcome.

What’s included:

All painting materials provided for the day.

A light finger lunch will be served.

Tea and coffee available throughout the session.

Please pack your own snacks if required, as there are no shops nearby.

What to bring:

Leave your best clothes at home, don’t forget an apron, and come ready to create!

Paid bookings are essential to secure your place.

Payment is non-refundable. We do understand circumstances change, if you can't make it, you can give your spot to another person or you can attend a future date at a discounted rate. If you are unwell, please do not attend.

This six-day retreat is designed to nurture your artistic spirit and offer a truly special journey into painting, surrounded by inspiration at every turn. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this is a space to explore, experiment, and connect—with nature, with others, and with your own creative soul.

A Gentle Flowing Experience

Arrive at the gorgeous Greenhills Art Centre and settle into your cozy room in the charming, historic inn.

Breathe in the country air, enjoy a delicious meal, and meet your fellow artists in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Take a leisurely stroll through the surrounding landscape, where you will encounter an abundance of wildflowers in bloom, offering endless inspiration. 

Each day unfolds naturally with a balance of guided painting sessions and personal creative time. Hayley will share her techniques for capturing the beauty of native wildflowers, guiding you through composition, colour mixing, and expressive brushwork.

There’s no rush—just time to explore, create, and enjoy the moment.

In between painting, there’s plenty to do in the historic inn—exploring its character-filled spaces, engaging in artful conversations, or simply unwinding with a good book. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you are free to work at your own pace.

As the retreat draws to a close, we celebrate each artist’s journey with a casual gathering, sharing our work, reflections, and the joy of having spent time immersed in art and nature.

You’ll leave with not only finished paintings but cherished memories and fresh inspiration for your creative path.

Hayley Krüger – Art Facilitator, Nature's Palette: A Painting Retreat

Hayley Krüger is an award-winning artist who creates vibrant, nature-inspired acrylic paintings. From her home studio in the beautiful Swan Valley, Western Australia, Hayley draws inspiration from the unique beauty and resilience of native Australian plants.

Through her artwork, Hayley hopes to connect people with the natural world, sharing the joy and wonder she feels in every brushstroke. Her paintings celebrate bright colours and the delicate details of nature, capturing its architectural beauty and the light that dances across its forms.

Hayley’s work has been shown in galleries and exhibitions both in Australia and internationally, and she is proud to have collectors from around the world. Along with her painting, Hayley enjoys teaching and helping others discover the joy of art through her workshops.

Price

$1740 includes 6 nights of accommodation, meals (full board), 5 days tuition, late access to studio, airport transfers and field trips (If applicable). For a full list of inclusions/exclusions click here.

A $300 deposit is required to secure your spot with the balance due in 14 days from acceptance.
